I am one of 78 artists who exhibited at this year’s 2019 Vignette Art Fair that took place April 10-14th in Dallas, TX. It was displayed at The Women’s Building in Fair Park. Vignette is an alternative art fair featuring Texas female and female-identifying artists that is held at the same time as the Dallas Art Fair. This year, it was curated by Leslie Moody Castro. She did an amazing job considering the space and how our artworks communicated with it! The Women’s Building used to house Dallas’s Women’s Museum, but it is now a relic to a museum that did not survive. Partially dismantled displays and wall text created a disconcerting, yet appropriate, atmosphere to view exceptional art by women from across Texas. Take a look at my four artworks from Vignette!
