These bone-like displays are assembled from second-hand bras. Undergarments are close to our skin every day to the point that they feel like part of our body. Underwires, clasps, elastic straps, and a variety of fabrics and foam become second skin. I was inspired by the construction of older forms of undergarments, more precisely, structures worn to modify the natural shape of a woman’s body.
