In this grid of photographs, various bows and flowers were removed from the center of bras and displayed like mounted, preserved butterflies. They are enlarged and printed at 10 x 10 inches, exposing all of the folds, unraveled edges and stains that reveal their heavy wear. The purpose of this group of photos is to consider the silly accoutrements added to women’s undergarments in a format that references history and preservation.
